Waitlist & Beta Enrollment
To join the MiniTune beta, we collect only your email address. This is used exclusively to:
- Secure your spot in the beta review queue.
- Enable playlist access for your specific account after approval.
- Send operational notifications about your beta request.
We do not use beta-request emails for marketing campaigns.
Retention Policy
- Beta request records are stored encrypted at rest.
- When E2EE mode is enabled, plaintext email is not available on our server.
- Request records are automatically deleted after our configured retention window (default: 90 days).
- Transactional email logs are retained by our email provider based on their platform policy.
We store this data securely on Vercel/Upstash infrastructure and never sell your email.
Data Control
You can request deletion of your beta request data at any time by emailing privacy@minitune.app. We process deletion requests within 48 hours.
Zero Tracking Policy
MiniTune is built with privacy as a first-class citizen:
- No Analytics: We don't track how you use the app.
- No Ad Identifiers: No tracking pixels or advertising IDs.
- Local-Only: Player preferences and artwork cache stay strictly on your device.
Safari Access
MiniTune requires permission to access Safari tabs to detect YouTube playback. This is used solely to control playback.
